This website has been a long time coming. It all started in 1999 — the year I got my first computer.
I still remember the mix of excitement and intimidation I felt staring at that boxy machine. What I discovered that year changed everything: a program called Bryce 3D, and with it, a deep love for building and exploring three-dimensional worlds. When Bryce was discontinued and stopped working on my Mac, it felt like losing something real. Other programs existed, but after years of learning Bryce inside and out, I simply had no desire to start over. So I didn't — until now.
That is, until recently. When I discovered that Windows 11 could run Bryce 7 Pro — a version I'd held onto all those years on an old hard drive — it felt like reuniting with a long-lost friend. The image above was one of the first things I created when I fired it back up.
Some things, it turns out, are worth waiting for.
